Even if life throws a curveball at me, I won't stop
There has always been an unbreakable strength within me. It is probably that famous Finnish sisu, resilience and determination. Challenges have never frightened me, quite the opposite, they ignite me and bring out my creativity. There is an entrepreneur living inside me who keeps moving forward no matter how rocky the road may be. In my work, developing services holistically feels like fuel to the fire.
Along my journey, I have also met people who have tried to diminish me. Yet every one of those experiences has empowered me and made me even stronger. I believe that every experience also carries the seed of growth.
The warrior of my own life – grounded by family and nature
Many people see me as social and energetic, but the truth is that I equally need my own inner world. There are two sides to me.
I process things constantly. My mind sometimes runs at full speed, but I have also learned how to let go. I have found my own sense of zen, where things are allowed to settle in their own time. Action, movement, and an active lifestyle are my natural ways of taking care of myself, both physically and mentally.
My family and nature are my sanctuary. On weekends, my husband and I wander through the forest, listening to birdsong and admiring the small wonders of nature. My family means everything to me, their support and love are the foundation of my life. Losing loved ones over the years has strengthened my understanding of what truly matters in life.
Authenticity means everything to me
I value authenticity and the courage to be unfinished. The pursuit of perfection does not resonate with me, because perfection does not exist.
I cannot tolerate disrespectful or unequal treatment. I sense dishonesty and two-faced behavior easily, and I choose to stay far away from it. I want to spend my time on things and people that are genuine.
Humor and a little silliness bring lightness to everyday life. But beneath it all, safety is essential, because without it, a person cannot truly be themselves.
My superpower
My superpower is that I dare to be myself. I trust that things will work out. I keep moving forward even when I feel uncertain or afraid. When needed, I stop, look back, and then continue again. I am not defined by what I have experienced or what I have been taught. I am defined by how I choose to move forward.
A healthy company culture and professional pride are things I will never compromise on.
What working life has taught me
“A good workplace culture does not happen by accident.”
I have seen both healthy and broken workplace communities
Problems are often rooted in fading professional pride or unclear leadership
Contradictions between words and actions quickly destroy trust
You cannot fix everything alone, sometimes the strongest decision is to leave
In the end
Today, I live a happy and balanced life in every area of my life.
And the most important of them all is love.
