You can't predict the future, but you can influence it
What would your financial future look like if you looked five or ten years ahead? Would you see a home of your own, the trip you have been dreaming about for a long time, the opportunity to work a little less someday, or above all, the peace of mind that comes from knowing your everyday life is financially secure even when life takes an unexpected turn?
There is something fascinating about predicting the future. That is why we at Savings Bank will be having some fun with financial predictions at the VoimaNaiset seminar in Turku on 7 October 2026. In real life, however, it is not a good idea to leave your finances up to a crystal ball. We cannot control everything the future brings, but there is a great deal we can do to influence our own financial well-being. It is not only about the euros in your bank account, but also about security, freedom, and the opportunity to make choices that are important to you.
Planning your finances does not require having a complete plan for decades to come. Often, one small step is enough to get started: reviewing your current situation, building up a financial buffer, or starting to save regularly. For someone else, the next step might be investing, buying a home, or considering how their finances can adapt when their life situation changes. The most important thing is to stop and ask yourself: What do I want from the years ahead, and what choices will take me closer to that?
At Savings Bank, we want to help people gain better control of their finances. Our experts can help you look at your finances as a whole, plan your savings, or explore different investment options. You do not need to know in advance where to begin. You can book a free personal finance session even if all you have at this stage are questions, wishes, or dreams.
At the VoimaNaiset seminar, you will receive a playful financial prediction from us to take home with you. In real life, however, a good plan is a better tool than a crystal ball – and we can help you create one!
